Not so much an Italian as a fine dining destination. The beef that I had was a little on the dry side and needed more source, so cannot give it the full score. The dessert was very inventive and innovative. Waitress was competent. Overall recommended and fine dining in an elegant atmosphere. Also attracts a good looking and elegant crowd

We chose to eat at Unica in Sofia, Bulgaria because of the reviews that we have read. Thank you for those reviews. We had tried the tasting menu along with wine pairings and the food did not disappoint! I would recommend making a reservation for this restaurant. Service was excellent, the chef knows what he’s doing as the food was excellent and the presentation was, too! Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of all the dishes, but I am including some along with what the restaurant looks like. Definitely a special occasions restaurant!

Very nice place. The atmosphere was great, very stylish and well balanced interior. Italian style arrangement of the tables with view on the pizza spot and oven. The service was at a good level, the lady was client oriented quite attentive and concerned about how we feel. The food looked good and was really tasty. A downside in my opinion is the too expensive pizza romana, keeping in mind it is not made with fresh dough, as well as the italian wine too costy for its level. Overall a very nice experience and I can recommend for the atmosphere and the food proposed.

Very stylish, tastefully designed, promising a lot. However: 1. When offering a Pizza „Romana“, it should be a „Romana“, i.e. very thin. It was not, more like between Romana and Neapolitana. 2. We saw the pizza sit on the counter for 5 minutes before being served, not good, it came rather lukewarm to the table. 3. While the service was very professional and correct, the extra cordiality you would expect from a restaurant like that - was unfortunately not there. 4. Good products, tasty dough, great wine list, but unfortunately not quite living up to our expectations. We had a nice evening, though, thank you.

I am utterly charmed by the dining experience at Unica Restaurant in Sofia. The food was exceptional, matched only by the service from our waiter, Iliyan. He expertly presented each dish and responded promptly to all our requests, enhancing our dining pleasure. The ambiance of the restaurant is both pleasant and original, making our visit truly unique.
