What a gem of a restaurant !! First time to have lunch here today and chose the daily special – trout – and what a treat it was! For just around 24 CHF, I enjoyed a fresh, tasty, perfectly seasoned trout. Definitely a 5-star experience. The ambiance is lovely and the location is charming. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and efficient. My meal arrived within 10 minutes. Truly exceptional! I highly recommend this place. I will be back !!

This has got to be the most decadent hot chocolate (Marta) in town! The texture was thick, not runny and I imagined that it was a delicious chocolate bar slowly melting in a pot and poured out into the glass cup it was served in. It wasn’t overly sweet, it wasn’t overly rich or “jelak”, it was just right. Located by the stairs that lead up to the cathedral with a lovely terrace seating as well as cozy indoor seatings. It’s spring/summer now but today’s chilly temperatures made it perfect for sitting alfresco with a cup of hot chocolate and pain au chocolat. I’m already looking forward to going back and perhaps giving brunch a go as well next time!
