The food was beyond delicious and our waiter Zsolt took wonderful care of us, attending to every need with warmth and professionalism. We were seated outside on the patio overlooking the river-the view was breathtaking and gave us great photo ops. The traditional Hungarian music was an unexpected touch. My parents left Hungary during the revolution, and hearing the music brought them to tears. It was such a special experience.

Our second visit to this fancy restaurant. The food did not disappoint once again. The goulash with Hungarian bread and the beef cheeks were fantastic. Hungarian wine and really nice service by Niki Gombás. We felt very comfortable and look forward to our next visit. Thank you

I savored dishes from their thoughtfully curated Hungarikum menu, each bite rooted in local, high-quality ingredients and crafted with finesse. A glass of fine Hungarian wine complemented the experience as dusk cast golden hues across the city below. Aranybástya isn’t just a meal—it’s a regal celebration of Hungarian history, gastronomy, and scenic wonder. Reservations are highly recommended for the best table and time.

It was an awesome experience. We reserved a table that could see the Parliament from afar, and that view was so indulging, especially at night when it lights up. The food is awesome, I recommend the duck leg, and for dessert, the tiramisu is very tasty. The service was also very nice, the attitude was nice and she was very kind and caring. Her name is Niki Gombas, thank her very much! Overall, the experience was extraordinary, definitely do come visit!

Nice place near the castle! Wonderful views and good food! Service was lacking (we got our food before our drinks came), they never offered water and we didn’t see them very often to even have the opportunity to order water or inquire about the drinks. The food though was solid. We had the beef tartare, smoked trout and truffle fries with Parmesan. All was really tasty! If there was better service, they would’ve gotten at least 2 more drinks out of us.🍹🥃
