We booked in advance, otherwise it is difficult to get a seat spontaneously. Quite a small restaurant, authentic, pleasant and family atmosphere. The waiters are simply charming! Professional and courteous. Excellent Italian food! We enjoyed every dish. Varied menu. The wine menu is also rich. Fair prices.

Comme Chez Soi was such a treat! The goose liver was incredible—rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. I also had the giant squid salad, which was super fresh and beautifully prepared. Everything felt refined yet relaxed. A great spot if you’re looking for high-quality food with a welcoming vibe. Would definitely come back!

Loved it. Must order goose liver with apple; the best liver I have ever tried! 1000/10. Goulash soup was good, and the staff were nice👍. Seafood pasta had loads of seafood in it but was a bit dry. Overall, this restaurant is very good; we got free ice cream 🍦 at the end.

Excellent food, warm, attentive service and overall great experience~ My first dinner in Hungary, came with a bunch of friends for a birthday celebration. Shared salads and pastas while everyone ordered their own mains. Food was delicious and ingredients fresh. Space was cosy and comfy. Dining here was like being spoiled at a dear friend’s place. Joseph and Gabriel were prompt in serving the food and turning around fresh crockery. Cracking jokes and surprising us with a birthday candle at the end. They also added lots of nice touches to the meal. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Very much recommended~ Must try!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I would like to comment how pleased it was delicious also great. We went there at 17:00 on Wednesday with a reservation and was shown to a table right away in a nice atmosphere. It seemed to be full already, so if you don't want to wait, I recommend making a reservation. I ordered the Salad of season, pumpkin seeds and parmesan, the Goulash soup and the Grilled goose liver with apple flambe, as well as a beer. The beer was served immediately, and the salad, goulash and goose liver were served shortly thereafter. Every dish was so delicious and filling that it was unbelievable for the price, making for a very satisfying dinner. Next time I visit Budapest, I'll definitely come back here to enjoy another lively, fun atmosphere and delicious dinner.
