Really enjoyed my brunch in June 2025. Went for a cappuccino, homemade lemonade, eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon plus American pancakes to finish. Really delicious, fast and friendly service.. why only 4 stars and not 5 for the food I hear you cry!!! Well the coffee was a bit cold and one of my eggs was overcooked and not runny.. other than that it was great and nice place to read a book and do a bit of people watching..
Overpriced, Disappointing, and Poor Service Not Worth It I recently ate at Mokka Cuka, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Hungary. While the service initially felt welcoming, the execution of the food and the response to mistakes were extremely disappointing. I ordered Eggs Benedict and specifically requested sauce on the side and avocado cream on the side. When my dish arrived, it was not what I ordered. I immediately told the waiter, who apologized and said there must have been a miscommunication with the kitchen. However, he did not offer to fix the dish or remove it from the bill. Simply apologizing does not make up for serving the wrong order. In my opinion, the meal should have been taken off the bill, as this mistake was entirely on their side. The food itself was overpriced and not delicious. My husband ordered the Mokka Toast, which he said was just “okay,” and he’s had much better versions elsewhere. We ordered two meals and one bottle of filtered water, which came to $42.18 USD. Absolutely not worth it. If you are paying these prices, you expect both good food and proper service, neither of which were delivered here. Bottom line: The food is mediocre, the service is lacking when mistakes happen, and the prices are far too high. I strongly recommend going somewhere else. This restaurant does not live up to its reputation.
Great photos which unfortunately led to disappointment. Food was absolutely untasty, mokka toast wasn’t great and others were passible. Staff is friendly but mixed up an order and payment as well. Also, the high service was added to the bill which is not customary and honestly, wasn’t earned. Great ice coffee though!
Overpriced but very well presented and prompt service. We asked if they could accomodate us as we only had half an hour and they did, the food was well prepared and tasty but nothing mind blowing. Then again what else could i expect from such quick service? Really friendly staff
Just steps away from the beautiful Parliament building you’ll find Mokka Cukka. And what a find it is! The best Eggs Benedict I may have ever had along with a refreshing homemade orange lemonade.
