Everything was perfect. I recommend making a reservation before going. The meals were huge; we couldn't finish one soup and one main course. The portions were enormous. The service was excellent; the waiters spoke several languages. I highly recommend it.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Brilliant find for authentic food. *note, if you don't book it gets busy for walk-ins, so get there early but we'll worth it.

I ordered the goulash with Hungarian dumplings from the beef menu — the portion was big and filling. Later, I noticed there’s another goulash listed elsewhere on the menu, which I didn’t see at first (I only saw another person eating it). Mine was the more expensive version, so it’s worth checking both before you order. I also tried menu #10 with grilled chicken (I didn’t really read the description, just showed the waitress a photo and she said it’s #10). A family member ordered it, and I actually liked it better than my goulash — it was good!

Amazing experience! The goulash here is absolutely delicious — rich, full of flavor, and truly authentic. The English-style beef was also perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and very tasty. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest who wants to try real Hungarian food. I will definitely come back!

My hungarian friend recommended me this local and I have to honestly say, that he wasn’t wrong. Exactly everything is on it’s place, including the ambient, quality, taste, as well as prices. Recommended for everyone, not only for tourists, but really for everyone who wanna eat something traditional and tasty.
