Guide Commentary
Chef's Restaurant stands as one of Sofia's premier fine dining destinations, helmed by celebrated chef Viktor Angelov. Located in the upscale Lozenets district, the restaurant delivers refined seasonal cuisine with meticulous attention to detail. Diners consistently praise the ribeye steak and signature pineapple brûlée, alongside thoughtfully prepared seafood and elevated interpretations of classic dishes. The intimate setting pairs elegant décor with attentive service, though noise levels can occasionally challenge conversation. While pricing reflects its elevated status, the quality of ingredients and execution justify the investment for special occasions. Best reserved in advance, Chef's appeals to those seeking genuine culinary craftsmanship rather than casual dining—a destination where each plate demonstrates the kitchen's commitment to excellence and flavor balance.[1][2][3][4][6].

The food was great, it was prepared perfectly. The staff are polite, well mannered and helpful. The ribeye steak that I had was amazing and they have a vast collection of wines.
The food was great and the service as well. Removing one star from atmosphere due to the smell and hygiene in the toilets, which is not very acceptable for a high price restaurant.
Nice restaurant. The menu contains a small amount of dishes, which is good if you usually cannot choose what to eat. They offered us additional seasonal dishes that were not on the menu and we tried one of them. The food was decent and tasty, but slightly unseasoned. I truly expected more from the food. It wasn’t something special. The staff was friendly and nice, and constantly checked if something was missing or if we wanted something.
We had some really good dishes here. The starters were thoughtful and the flavors were excellent. The Mongolian Beef, Filet, and crispy duck were elevated and spot on. The venison while good, didn’t illicit the same responses as the other dishes. The Snickers dessert was the winner but the cheesecake and strawberry cup were also solid
We went for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was nice, the service was fast. We tried calamari, surf&turf and hamburger. Surf&turf and calamari was very nice. Hamburger was also nice but there was no different touch. Especially the fries were very ordinary. The prices were normal for their scale. We paid 128 leva with 1 glass of wine, 2 glasses of raki and dessert.
