Restaurant "Staria Chinar"

This was our first dinner in Bulgaria, and it was simply fantastic. We had the chicken, the Lemonville meatballs, and a venison, appetizer sampler plate, along with a dish of eggplants and peppers and bread. The flavors were magnificent, everything was fresh and hearty, and the staff really made us feel at home. Incredibly cozy, we are already talking about going back tomorrow because it was so good.

Great restaurant with delicious food! We started with the cheese plate as an appetizer, which was absolutely wonderful. The interior is stylish and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We went in the Restaurant without reservation. Elena managed with a big smile and a warm heart that we could stay. The food was delicious, the Dubai Cheese cake the best cake I ever had. Great service from Elena, Alex and Velizar. Thank you for the wonderful dinner, it has been a pleasure for us. Sure we will come back! Quite good. Food is great, menu is nice, prices are okay, I guess - a few points: service wasn't great for our table and why don't they do cloth napkins? Seems like it would fit. Would still definitely go again though!

On a random Monday, we were looking for something to do eat and we found this restaurant. We sat in the lovely courtyard and had a wonderful meal. The pork ribs and French fries (which are actually crispy chips) were fantastic. The wild game sausage as an app was top tier in a country where they know sausage, do not miss the accompanying sauce. Our bread arrived late and it was gratis. Order it at the beginning of the meal, not when the main comes (our bad). It is so fragrant and tasty. The house red wine is light in body and accompanied both the wild game sausage and the pork ribs beautifully. Side note, the pork ear was yum! But if you are from the south in the United States, it is a totally different preparation. It was very cool to try it this way and I would try it again.
