The Taste - Cafe Restaurant

We were on the way to Vienna from Hallstatt when we just decided to exit at St. Polten, never even having heard of the town, to get lunch. And lucky that we did. We stopped at The Taste and was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. We chatted with the owner and his daughter. They were both super friendly. Also, our waiter, but we did not get his name. Highly recommended

Absolutely beautiful cozy and modern restaurant. I stumbled upon this establishment randomly walking down the street and I was greeted by the owners who are a husband and wife team and they are so friendly, I had just an absolutely wonderful time there and I’ll be back!

Definitely recommend!! 🥗🍛I called ahead to say I'd be coming for lunch, and as soon as I sat down, this portion of bread dumplings with mushroom sauce and green salad was already in front of me 😍 Excellent food! For €10.90 I've also tried the well-filled baked potato! Perfect for sitting outside during your lunch break ☀️ Such friendly and helpful staff... and 🍧🍦and I can also get decaf coffee ☕️ here (to go!)

We ate at the Taste for the first time today and it was really delicious. Food really freshly prepared and the service was very friendly and helpful :-). Would love to come back.
