We stopped in for 1 night. The room was warm & clean but tired & dated. Location good for us to walk dogs. Restaurant & bar area closed on a Sunday.we only realised this once we had booked & read the welcome letter with the opening times. It also stated on the welcome letter breakfast was served 6.30 -9 am. There was even a sign at the entrance stating the same. We asked at reception in the morning and told bluntly no breakfast!!!! Really disappointing. Why advertise a service you don't provide. Part of the reason to stay was so we could eat an early breakfast & get back on the road. Really not worth the money.
This hotel left me with one of the biggest contrasts in my travels. On the bright side, the breakfast was simply outstanding – probably the best I’ve ever had on the road. Everything was fresh, tempting, and beautifully presented, with a lovely hotel view that made the morning feel special. But then came the room… unfortunately, very shabby. The floor covering really needs replacing, as it spoils the overall impression. At times I even wondered if, because the hotel is so pet-friendly, the rooms are also kept in a “pet standard.” 🙂 Still, the breakfast experience alone is unforgettable – just be ready for a very mixed stay.
Very welcoming and absolutely delicious !!! … We’ve been here also 1 year ago for the same occasion … IronMAN in St..Polten … I remember that we were also appreciating everything … I mean the food and also the attitude of the staff … Thank you Guys!!! Don’t change anything !!! :))
Nice and quiet place friendly staff absolutely fantastic breakfast You can spend your holiday in this hotel because there is lots to do in the area. We only stayed overnight on the journey from Greece to the UK but it was well worth it
In rooms the furniture is very old and smells of cheap cleaning products. I felt like the 80s. Definitely not a 3 stars Hotel. Breakfast was almost perfect.
