Called in, staff not friendly at all on the phone. Asked for reservations she said fully booked even though its low season, Asked for tomorrow she said No reservations available, when she saw that I asked for after tomorrow she got pressed and you can come and sit inside or you can sit with other people. This is not an issue but the tone and attitude is big issue. Especially when you work at a restaurant. You either talk respectfully or go home and talk to your family in that way. No idea why was there an attitude but I think that foreigners are not welcome at this place.
An absolutely wonderful view and the menu lives up to the scenery, its also excellent! Its not often you have both. This place delivers!!!
Clean, well-maintained and with a pleasing interior, this restaurant has it all: connection to public transport, amazing view and even better food. Either the shorter seasonal menu or the full card. I chose the rösti and this was phenomenal. Also, the alcohol free gin was great too, amazing to see driver friendly drinks on the menu. Also a good selection of desserts. I can very much recommend!
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The server didn’t greet us warmly — instead, she looked down on us and immediately stated, “We just have the cold menu, so you know,” with an attitude. We were okay with that, but when we asked to sit at a different empty table, she responded with, “You know what, just do whatever you want.” No effort to accommodate us or guide us to a table. We ultimately walked out because the service and attitude were unacceptable. This was by far the worst hospitality I’ve encountered at any restaurant — especially disappointing for a place in Switzerland, where we expected a higher standard.
Here is the restaurant and staff Thanks to Fabio, I was able to finish my last day in Interlaken on a good note. I was worried because I didn't make a reservation, but they guided me to an outdoor seat, and there was an empty seat on the terrace, so I wanted to move, but they changed the table without me having to ask, so I was able to eat while enjoying the nice view. The steak was very tender, and the other dish was bread with cheese, bacon, and other ingredients on it, but Koreans might find the cheese flavor too strong, so I recommend a different menu.
