Gasthof Bären

Lovely hotel not far from Interlaken! I enjoyed my stay a lot. The room was immaculate, terrace with a great view and tasty breakfast at a good value.

We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed the peacefulness of being away from the town center. The hotel and restaurant staff here were all very sweet and attentive. The restaurant food was very tasty. Thank you for having us! Merci :)!

Stay at Gasthof was really memorable, they serve great fulfilling breakfast , but sadly there’s no self catering kitchen which was advertised at Trip.com so you’ll have to figure out your dinner yourself as Switzerland is quite expensive and only way you can make your trip cost effective is prepping your own meals. This hotel is 200+ years old and run by wonderful power pack couple who are extremely friendly and have great customer service skills.

This is our first time in Switzerland on our honeymoon from Canada. We had stayed in two suites before Gasthof Bären which did not compare to this experience! The quaint small town location gave you the real Swiss experience. Service was friendly. The blonde male server with glasses ( I didn't catch his name) was extremely hospitable and provided excellent dinner service. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delightful, and dinner was extremely tasty and excellent quality. The owners are present some days which makes us know they care very well about their hotel like it is their home. Our room was very clean which we appreciate to feel comfortable. Thank you!

A wonderful place with great service and delicious food I recently stayed at this Gasthof and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed and felt at home. The service is excellent, with each member of staff ensuring everything was perfect. The food is fantastic! Each dish is made with care and tastes delicious. As a vegetarian, I was amazed by vegetarian/vegan options. Every meal was fresh, tasty and well presented. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into their menu. The location is also stunning. The views are stunning and enjoying a meal while watching the scenery is something I will never forget. What makes this place truly special, therefore, are the people. The staff are friendly and really care about making your stay enjoyable. Their warmth and attention to detail create a welcoming atmosphere. Overall this Gasthof is a great find, with excellent service, delicious food and beautiful views. I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again.
