This was our first meal in Switzerland, and we were thrilled with it. They were able to accommodate us around 6 PM on a Friday, just before the dinner rush. Reservations are recommended if you can, or arrive early. The dining room is cozy, adding to the warm atmosphere. We loved the Nüsslisalat, which is similar to a Cobb salad but prepared more delicately — absolutely delicious. The Poulet Brustli, chicken breast with smoked garlic sauce and noodles, was perfectly moist. The Züri Geschnetzeltes, veal strips in a mushroom sauce served with a potato pancake, had a rich sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The staff were professional and friendly throughout. An excellent Swiss dining experience.
Restaurant suggested by our tour bus operator. Excellent cheese fondue with a fantastic view. The view is really worth the price. Friendly and quick service. Some vegetarian options.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The restaurant is beside the road and it’s hard to miss. They have a variety of authentic Swiss cuisine. Reservation was not required for a weekday lunch, but it’s recommended to make a reservation if you’re planning to have cheese fondue because they only serve that to the outside tables and there aren’t many.
We had an amazing meal at Pinte Restaurant! Our group of six included three generations — from a 9-year-old to an 80-year-old — and everyone genuinely enjoyed it, which doesn’t happen often. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, but the fondue with cheese and pepper was definitely the star. It was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of kick. We ended up ordering extra potatoes to go with it, and they were so good we could’ve had a whole meal just with those. Highly recommend them as a side no matter what you’re eating. We also had the schnitzel, chicken, and pasta — everything came out hot and perfectly cooked. The schnitzel was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the pasta was simple but comforting — perfect for the kids. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and nothing felt too heavy or overdone. There are so many restaurants in the area, but this is one you should absolutely make time for. The food, the service, and especially the view — absolutely stunning — all come together to make this place special. Definitely make a reservation if you’re coming during a busy time. It’s a popular spot, and for good reason. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
Sit outdoor having fondue and asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Flavours burst in the mouth. The only thing needed to improve was the consistency of the fondue. A bit too runny. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and cheerful.
