Restaurant Alpenblick Grindelwald

We arrived the restaurant and we wasn’t sure if it was open. I asked the staff “excuse me, are you open?” The staff is rude with the replied that “ Is it look like we are open, hello?” with racism face. Our family is in love with switzerland, we came to this country 3rd time already. This is the 1st person that is not nice in this country. Someone should teach her manner and how to use polite english.

I was lucky to stop by at this restaurant. I was given good food recommendations and local specialities were lovely. There is free parking outside allowing some lovely walks in the area without a climb from the bottom. The man working there is very kind and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.

The staff is so kind and helpful. They have given us great local suggestions and the food is great too. It was our first time trying the cheese fondue and the staff was so helpful showed us how to eat it with suggestions too. As a cherry on top the view from the hotel is AMAZING.

Fine, very expensive but that’s expected for Switzerland. I had a seasonal asparagus soup that was surprisingly hearty. Could definitively had done with more ham though, there was only a singular thin slice. But overall tasty. Tried some of my boyfriend’s raclette which was good and a big portion. Solid restaurant if you want something Swiss after your hike. The white wine is also pretty good.
