There wasn’t a thing we would have asked for or changed. Team is an A+ and the rest was great. Clean and well decorated room, breakfast was on point for being included and had a great meal. 10/10!

The hotel is centrally located in Zermatt, just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. The hotel staff were friendly, and two team members kindly helped us plan our day hikes. The breakfast team was also warm and efficient. Their vegan breakfast was generous and varied—we enjoyed fresh vegetables, olive oil, fruits, a selection of vegan yogurts, oat and nut milks, nuts, and porridge. The garden was a lovely spot to sit and relax, and we enjoyed the view of the garden and a little of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The bathroom, however, felt somewhat dated, with a sliding door. And now for the downside: We booked directly with the hotel and clearly stated that we are vegan and intended to have our dinners at the hotel’s Vegistube restaurant. We were assured this would be no problem - that many of the vegetarian dishes could be adapted to vegan, offering us plenty of options. Unfortunately, the reality fell short of this promise. The vegan selection was extremely limited and showed little consideration for nutritional needs—there were no proper sources of protein, for example. Despite our polite requests, we were told that the kitchen would not make any adjustments. It felt as though they simply didn’t care, with an attitude of “take it or leave it.” Unlike the hotel team, the restaurant staff were neither patient nor friendly. This was especially disappointing given how difficult it was to find proper vegan dining options elsewhere in Zermatt.

It was our pleasure to stay in hotel Pollux me and my family. The check in was super fast, everything was ready for us upon our arrival. The staff were so friendly, helpful and respectful. There was a misunderstanding and the problem was resolved at the same time. Out of their kindness, they offered us delicious chocolates. Also when we were leaving, it was a nice gesture from them to also offer us candy’s.

Thank you The Pollux hotel for making our stay memorable. We booked a one night stay and my wife and I. My wife celebrated one of her best birthday celebration that night. Special mention to Nelly who was very accomodating and helpful with all our requests. We are very pleased with all of you, to the hotel Pollux staff. Joaquin

Great location in town. The included breakfast was nice, and loved the small bar/lounge- very cozy place to hang out in the evening. Beds/pillows could have been more comfortable, and it was hard to regulate the temp in the room, but overall was a nice place.
