Excellent experience! I was working in Visp, and took a day trip by myself up to Zermatt to experience the town and the scenery. I looked all over for a nice outside sit-down cafe, and Du Pont nailed it. Had an excellent beer, pumpkin soup WONDERFUL bread, and the minced beef w/ noodles. All while people and mountain watching.

What a fantastic mountain dining experience! This cozy spot is the perfect place to warm up, and their fondue and soup are absolutely to die for. Seriously rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. But what truly made the evening special was our server, Perry. He was absolutely awesome—attentive, friendly, and just a joy to talk to. He even put on a little show for us at the end with our leftover fondue, which was such a fun and memorable touch!

I had a lovely experience at Restaurant Du Pont in Zermatt. The salad and mint tea were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The French server was a pleasure to talk to: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great customer service all around, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great fondue spot in Zermatt! The cheese fondue was delicious. They have both indoor and outdoor seating — we chose to sit outside to enjoy the perfect weather. Service was excellent, and our waiter Vitor was super friendly and attentive. Just a small tip — the “Fondue from 2 pax” section shows the price per person, not per pot, so read the menu carefully.

We had the best experience at Du Pont Café in Zermatt! The fondue and cheese sandwich were absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and so flavorful.
