Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt

This was a lovely hotel in Zermatt. The service was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh options. Everything overall felt charming and cozy. We decided to go for a room with a view and were very happy we did. The view was stunning. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We had the loveliest stay at Hotel Bella Vista, greeted by the warm and kind Martina, who arranged everything so nicely for us! They were perfectly able to accommodate our little family and my gluten free diet and the location is so beautiful! We absolutely recommend and will be back!

Possibly one of my favorite hotel experiences, and this is coming from someone who travels a lot. Reasons I loved my stay: 1. Family run business. Incredibly warm, welcoming staff. A handwritten note was in my room, along with a postcard, cookie, and small book detailing the history of this hotel. I did not have an adapter with me that fit Switzerland's outlets, and the staff let me borrow one during my stay. The daily breakfast includes homemade bread and jams. They place your name card on your breakfast table along with a small felt clipboard with a quote of the day. It's very rare to find hotels that can create such an intimate, personalized feel to your stay. It's also a lovely way to learn about the history and culture of a place. 2. Lovely deck space with impressive views of the Matterhorn (see photos) 3. Located slightly further from the center of town (10 minutes walk), which lends a more peaceful serene ambience 4. Very comfortable mattresses and bedding 5. Other highlights: They have a spa, offer a packed lunch (need to order the day before), and have light dinner options.

We immediately noticed how spotless it was, and Hotel Bella stands out as the best compared to my other three four-star stays. • The place: Offers a stunning view of the Matterhorn, perfect for capturing beautiful sunrise and sunset photos in your own balcony. • The service and atmosphere: Warm and welcoming, making the stay feel truly comfortable. Unlike other big and fashionable hotels, this place pays attention to every important detail. To truly experience the beauty and uniqueness of Zermatt, I highly recommend choosing Hotel Bella Vista.

The bathroom had a fabulous shower. Breakfast was excellent, with several homemade items and the option of ordering scrambled eggs as well as cappuccino. The two women who ran the breakfast were extremely kind and patient. The hotel was in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from the busy town center. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if we return to Zermatt.
