# Aylyakria: Plovdiv's Most Photogenic Food Destination Aylyakria is where Bulgarian cuisine gets a contemporary makeover, and honestly, it's the kind of place that makes your Instagram feed look genuinely good. The plated salads arrive deconstructed with artistic flair—think vibrant heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata, and unexpected flavor combinations like strawberries with herbs that somehow just work. Their slow-roasted beef ribs and salmon fillet with aromatic curry sauce are the real showstoppers; the presentation rivals the taste, which is rare. What sets this gastro bar apart is how they nail the energy—buzzing atmosphere, genuinely attentive staff, and a thoughtfully sourced menu celebrating Bulgarian ingredients with a modern twist. At 17-38 BGN for mains, you're getting serious quality without the pretension. Book ahead (it fills up fast), and come hungry for both food and content. This is trending_foods done right: delicious, beautiful, and authentically rooted in something real rather than chasing hype.

It was a wonderful experience with great food 💚 The tiny staircase probably adds to the character and the toilet on top of a few steps makes it feel like a throne, quite memorable. The waiter was lovely, very friendly and happy. He gave suggestions, he asked if there was anything else we wanted and was overall really kind. The food was very good and beautifully presented, especially the desserts! They didn't look like cakes and we were really surprised. They didn't only look good, they also tasted good. The dishes themselves were also good, but make sure you leave some room for their desserts 🥰
Very nice place. We came here for lunch and really enjoyed our time and food. The way the salad was served was perhaps a bit too creative / disassembled for me (perhaps worth noting in the menu) but everything was really delicious. Staff was friendly and prompt. Interior modern and stylish.
Happy to have been here with a big group. Lovely service and great food options. Price/quality is good, will definitely come back here. Location wise this neighborhood is also perfect.
Lovely restaurant serving some really tasty dishes. The salads super delicious, fresh, with a few creative twists (like cheese, herbs, and strawberries) that worked surprisingly well together. The pulled pork sandwich is an absolute must try, but be warned: the portion is massive. We barely managed to finish one between two people! Definitely worth a visit when in Plovdiv.
I recently visited this restaurant and while the beef ribs weren’t quite to my taste, I appreciated the overall atmosphere and friendly service. The menu looks diverse and promising, so I’m definitely planning to come back and try some of the other dishes—I’m sure there’s something I’ll love. Looking forward to giving it another go soon!
