Kostbar Syriana

Really good food and service. Would recommend calling ahead and checking to book a seat. We were lucky to get seated almost immediately. I wouldn't say its authentic Syrian or Middle Eastern food ( I was born and raised in the Middle East) but it was still great food. Would highly recommend the Syrian teller(especially the Falafel) and the Hindi kofte teller.

The food was delicious but I would like to focus my review on the staff who were very friendly and welcoming, the owner is a Syrian gentleman who welcomed me and my friends and the waitress so much professional and friendly, she has the best customer service. It’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic food. Also, the location is very close to Hallstatt

Delightful restaurant in the small place Bad Goisern surrounded by mountains. Amazing atmosphere, very kindhearted and attentive owner, which taking care of each guest like own family member, advising the best choice based on client preferences. Sustainable eco friendly restaurant with large variety of vegetarian dishes of an unforgettable taste. Definitely will visit it again, as soon as I’m in Bad Goisern. Highly recommended for people, who like quality meal, great service and friendly home atmosphere.

A small spot offering some of the best dishes I’ve ever had! The service is also so kind and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we had dinner two nights in a row. The second night they squeezed us in in-between reservations, which was very thoughtful! I recommend this place for whoever is in town, also kid-friendly and big enough to host larger groups (do call in advance to reserve and make sure not to miss such a delicious spot!!!)
