Food was good, was a sharply designed and decorated place, however the service was cold. My wife and I dined here mid week and there was only one other couple dining. The gentleman (owner?) serving us was the only one in the restaurant (other than a cook?) and quite frankly, he seemed cranky. Not much of a personality and when asked questions about the menu he was short.
Wouldn’t know how the food was because the waitress was rude and condescending because we were English. She seemed annoyed from the offset and come to take our drink order without providing a drink menu. She handed our menus to us and said these are in English, and rudely walked away without even saying a proper greeting or telling us her name. We literally got up and left. If you’re traveling in Lucerne, beware!
Well I saw a 4.5 average and thought we would try it. Weird that we were the only ones in the restaurant. I thought maybe the locals on a Saturday night would roll in around 8. Nope. No one came. Appetizers were actually good. Main dish hamburger was under cooked and cordon bleu was just ok. Service was poor as we felt as if we were an inconvenience to the waitress. Atmosphere was as bad mainly due to no vibe since we were the only ones there. I did a one star overall so that others will be cautious before going. Cocktails were actually great. Pricing for food was high considering the flavor. I personally would go to Old Town and find another restaurant.
Worth going off the main walkway! Very impressed with taste and quality of food. We loved both dishes. The service was great and the taste even better. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the avocado cream was a great complement. The sweet potato fries were nice and crisp. Also, one of the best restaurant music tracks ever.
Cozy modern restaurant with metro lighting dressed in glassy colorful shades from the many whisky and gin bottles from the bar. Contemporary fusion cuisine with local touches and Indonesian influences, just get out on the street and you’re downtown in the old city in matter of five minutes walk.
