My wife and I throughly enjoyed our dinner at Portofino. We had bruschetta to start and then I had the truffle pasta and she had tagliatelle with beef and veggies. The food surpassed expectations and our wine pairing were delicious! The real gem of this place was our server Max. He was funny, gave great recommendations, and made our meal a fantastic experience!

One of the best Italian meals I have ever had! Food was beautifully presented and delicious, and what really made this meal stand out was the attentiveness and hospitality of the wait staff. Thank you especially to Max who fileted our fish for us and made a show out of it. We were so impressed by your skills! Thank you for making our dining experience warm and memorable.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place for dinner. We were immediately greeted (which doesn’t happen often in Europe) by the owner. We were given a comfortable table. The owner was our waiter and was very attentive as well as gave us his great recommendations. The food was outstanding. If we ever come back to Lucerne we will definitely be back to dine here. Try the Mushroom Risotto & Vodka Sauce Pasta!
