Vesper

Recommended to me by a local, Vesper is a cozy cafe in the heart of Lucerne. I came here for a light lunch (I had a sandwich with salmon) and a coffee. Nice, quiet environment upstairs, with good wifi connection.

A wonderful bright and cozy place with a bit of a view of the lake & mountains. Great wine and apèro options. An exceptionally nice and chill atmosphere & very friendly service. Loved it here

Great coffee shop. Nice and welcoming atmosphere. The staff member was kind and communicated well. Self-service style. Enough space on the upper floors and outside. Offers a beautiful view of the lake main intersection. It was very quiet in the evening and the music was soothing and calming. Beautiful design and great choice of furniture and cutlery, crockery, music, and plants. So far, all past experiences have been positive and enjoyable.

Had a negroni here that was pretty darn good. The hostess gave us a bowl of chips too for good measure. We sat in the upstairs lounge area sipping on drinks and passing some time before we carried on to the Lion Monument. Our only thought is it would be nice if they were playing some jazz music or something a bit more calming.

Looking for a truly outstanding burger? Then you should try the wagyu burger at Vesper! Grilled to perfection and served with a variety of homemade sauces and fries. They also offer great tappas and a nice selection of different brands of gin.
