Al Faro

Fantastic restaurant in Paradiso. We have been to Al Faro multiple times and the quality, service and the ambience never disappoint. We have been there last time on Saturday and were in a group of 6 and tried various starters to share and couldn’t decide which was the best one. Also the various fish dishes as a main were outstanding. We will definetely be back soon :-)

We came for dinner for a special occasion and we enjoyed having eating outside on the terrace. The shrimp battuta was good, we really liked the pasta with king crab, but the tuna was very (too) salty. The service was decent, but somehow we expected it to be better.

I came here with family and had an unforgettable night. Quality of service was outstanding, particularly Igor was impeccable. The atmosphere was lively with a piano playing live all night. Quality of fish and sea food (and even desserts) was also absolutely great, in my opinion one of the best fish and seafood restaurants in Switzerland.

We have been 3 times to Al Faro and were always happy with the quality of food and service. Price is slightly high but you get what you pay. We will definitely come back when we visit Lugano next time.

This elegant restaurant is a piece of Italy in Switzerland, an incredible elegance, everything very chic and refined, giving you endless appetite, the owner has a fantastic class in always serving the best, all the staff are kind and very professional, who always present the best you can have in this delicious Italian Mediterranean cuisine. I love it, and I can't wait to go back again ! Bravo
