One of the best restaurants in St Moritz. I patronised this hidden gem 3 times during my stay in Engadin. Highly recommended ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let’s start with the soups. Ordered the barley soup and carrot soup on separate occasions, they were both amazing. The barley soup was creamy and filling, and the carrot soup was refreshing with a hint of ginger. An amazing starter. The Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfectly fried and well-seasoned. The fries might seem normal but the devil is in the details. I reckon they were double fried as they’re super crispy. Not to mention, the portions are very generous. The Veal Steak with Porcini Mushroom sauce was the best dish I’ve had in Engadin. Extremely tender meat and flavourful mushroom sauce - couldn’t get enough of it ! Still thinking about it as I’m writing this review ! 🤭 Thanks to the friendly husband-wife duo for the amazing food and service.
Amazing! If you visit St. Moritz you must include at least one meal (or all of them) at this wonderful restaurant. It is a family run establishment and the owner/chef personally comes out to make sure that everything was to your satisfaction. I can honestly say I had the best burger I’ve ever had in my life, and at a very reasonable price for St. Moritz. The ambiance is absolutely perfect and you immediately feel like you’ve made the right choice. Don’t forget to try the Grappa from Nonino, which was rated the best distillery in the world, and for good reason! I can’t leave out the excellent service and warm greeting we received from the co-owner/wife of the chef. A five star rating simply isn’t enough!
On Friday Sept 12 six of us walked into this modest looking restaurant and found ourselves enjoying delicious food and the warm welcome of the wait staff and owner/chef. The food was superb and having the owner/chef stop by the table was a wonderful personal touch. We felt welcomed like we were family and the variety of options gave us each what we wanted. Our recommendation is to go and enjoy!
What an absolutely amazing Restaurant in St. Moritz. Daniela and Luigi are very friendly and welcoming and always helpful if you need help choosing one of the delicious meals they have. The food is very fresh and tastes amazing to the last bite. It was that good that we had to go for a 2nd time. Highly recommanded if you love food and want to have a delicious meal. I will surely come back as soon as I am in St. Moritz. Thank you very much Daniela and Luigi.
Charming little restaurant with superb hospitality! Note - their kitchen only opens at specific hours of the day, so be sure to double check. We arrived for dinner as soon as their kitchen opened and were the only guests/table. We ordered their cordon bleu and steak tartare. Chef came out to greet us since it was pretty quiet. He also let us taste the tartare to ensure it suited our taste in terms of spiciness (disclaimer- he could probably do this since we arrived early for dinner and there was no other guests to serve at the time). Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, and everything was pretty tasty!
