Pizzeria Ristorante Riccardo’s St.Moritz

Probably the best pizza we had in a while. Can only recommend. Don’t hesitate and order pizza. And don’t skip the dessert. I had the cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent.

Very disappointing experience – would not recommend. My family and I came here for a meal, and it was disappointing from start to finish. While we were still looking at the menu, the waiter came over three times asking if we were ready to order. It felt really pushy and uncomfortable. When the food arrived, the dishes were very average. The pasta was just plain spaghetti with tomato sauce, yet it cost over 20 CHF. The night before in Zermatt, we had a similar pasta with meat sauce for the same price, much better quality and value. What upset us the most was the service. After our dishes were served, we asked a male waiter politely if we could have some chili flakes and cheese powder. He replied, with no expression, that they only had chili flakes. However, halfway through our meal, we saw the same waiter bringing cheese powder to another table of non-Asian guests and adding it to their pasta. That was shocking and unacceptable. In any Italian restaurant, providing cheese powder should be basic courtesy. This made us feel discriminated against because we are Asian. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Definitely not recommended.

Was staying at the hotel and came down for breakfast at the restaurant. The server Barbera was a very gracious host who addressed the needs of my family at every request. She is the most polite person we have come across in the past 8 days we have been in Switzerland.

What a great place. We were in St Moritz for two nights….visited Riccardo’s on the first evening and had to come back on the second because the food was so good. The chef with the authentic pizza oven makes the most delicious pizzas. Kids loved them and we loved them too. Even the bread to start with was a knockout. We emptied two baskets!! The team are also really friendly and helpful. Ask for the special olive oil to dunk your bread with salt pepper and a sprinkle of Parmesan….wow. So…yes…it’s great. 100% recommend.

Very spacious trattoria feel. Front of building undergoing renovations but inside is a large open space. Very efficient service… easy and fast. Tasty salad and lovely thin pizza… Delicious wines by glass. Very reasonable prices
