When I see something really good, I want to share it. I found this restaurant on Google and it is the closest restaurant to my hotel across the river. I first went to a neighborhood chinese restaurant called Lin Box to Go. It is a good restaurant with 4 seats but a bit too far away. The restaurant is well situated in the heart of Graz . A worker told me the restaurant was opened a little more than a year ago. I was looking around and a Chinese explained to me how it works. A large bowl costs 9.9 Euros. A slightly smaller costs 8.90 Euros and I can fill the bowl. I saw people filling the bowl to the brim, including one lady that kept pushing down the food. At first I doubt if it is any good. After all, buffet food is never any good but this is an exception. Because of the high customer rate and turn over, the dishes were never emptied. I sat inside the spacious seating area with back pillows and the worker constantly bringing out plate after plate so the food is prepared moments ago. The taste is exceptional. It is not too salty, nor oily and it has 3 or 4 sauces if you like. For 9.90 Euros, you can have fried shrimp, pan fried shrimp , stuff crab leg claw. One can essentially fill the whole bowl with shrimps for the same price but please don’t that because the owners need to make a profit too. A McDonald meal will cost that much money. I had a croissant and a coffee and it was 8 Euros. A burger costed me 9.10 Euros (granted, I was in Hallstatt, a super touristy place with astronomical prices . Even the use of toilet there costs 1 Euro ). This price is so low that I felt bad for getting so much that I had left over for another meal. On top of that, sweet and sour soup is included. You can get a to go bag , chop sticks , forks , spoon and napkins. Inside the restaurant , they have a stack of napkins in case you needed more. The restaurant sells a variety of drinks and package noodles and snacks. The shelves are brightly lit and very conducive to buying. I just admired the variety the products there. The bathroom is clean and the paper towels for drying didn’t run out. I ate there twice in 2 days. If I stay longer, I would go there every day. I love their ducks, broccoli, dumplings, beef, …everything. The name of the restaurant in Chinese is 美食 meaning delicious food and it definitely lives up to its name.
Good food options, we might have tried all options between three of us 🤭 and everything was delicious! Options for drinks were also quite nice. Spicy sauce was not that spicy and very small amount though :(
There's a buffet where you can fill 2 sizes of bowls. Small for 7.90 euro and Large for 9.90 euro. Go for the large and don't be shy about heaping it up. Take your meats first and top it off with shrimp, dumplings, rolls, etc. Great food and lots of it for a very reasonable price. Best place to eat and you can buy some good drinks to go with your meal. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and they keep filling in hot and fresh food. Enjoy!
A really good initiative. They have various options for food both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The food is delicious. They accept payments with cards. The value proposition is extremely good as far as the customer is concerned. There is also a spacious dining area. You can also buy groceries from there.
This is the best thing in Graz! For 10€ you can have a very filling meal. You can put any dishes you want on a plate for €8.50 or a little more for €9.50. Very clean and tasty. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff There is also an Asian grocery store nearby. Please stay the same!!!
