Had the small Wiener-style schnitzel (pork), which was a good portion, tasty, and reasonably priced. However, charging €3.00 just for a small serving of Preiselbeeren feels quite high. The staff was nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was fine overall. Nothing bad, but nothing particularly special either. An okay place for a casual meal.
Great service, big portion. The salad had way too much dressing, and was very bitter/sour. Would be better without it, but maybe this is the way they like it in Austria. The garlic pasta had also way too much garlic.
My friend who lived in Graz recommended here to me. AMAZING! I'm literally speechless about how great the food is here. They can literally take all my money if they keep bringing the food to me ngl
This was our worst culinary experience in Graz. In this location we orderd a pork cotlet which was badly cut, very thin, that's why was dry, have been made in a pan instead of being made as it says on the menu, on the grill, very salty and the taste was like frozen meat, not fresh. It's a place to avoid, an unpleasant experience
Very cute & cozy spot with authentic styrian food. Lots of locals come here. The waiter didn't speak much English but was so kind & checked up on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying everything. He had a very kind & friendly smile. The food portions were generous so we weren't able to finish everything we ordered. My partner & I both agreed if we were to do this spot again, we would get 1 salad to split between us both. The item I ordered wasn't super filling on it own, but I ordered a beer too which was good & helped fill me up. I ordered the Emmentaler Formaggio Impanato which was essentially a breaded mild flavored swiss cheese with tartar sauce. My partner got the Balagnese Spagetti & I tried a bit of his & it was delicious. This is a must have if you are wanting to try authentic Graz food during your stay.
