Very tasty Pizza Calabrese with Stracciatella. Really good Italian taste. Service was not too caring but still okay.
The waiters are a bunch of SWINDLERS/THIEVES!! Although it's not exactly good manners, but, if you pay with cash, ABSOLUTELY COUNT the money/(cash) you get back (in change/rest) from those "waiters"/THIEVES: if you pay with large bills, they tend to "mince" the change (back) in the lowest bills possible (€5/10), and swindle you of €10-20!!
I recently spent an evening at La Tavernetta, tucked away in Graz’s Old Town near Südtirolerplatz. The charming outdoor terrace, complete with umbrella-shaded tables and a backdrop of a baroque church, instantly transported me to an Italian piazza setting. Inside, the space feels authentically Italian—warm lighting, rustic touches, and cozy seating that makes it feel more trattoria than tourist trap. I began with a mixed seafood appetizer, followed by a Risotto Asparagi—creamy and fresh with tender asparagus. The Grigliata Mista di Pesce brought a generous platter of grilled sea bass, calamari, and seasonal vegetables, each component highlighting its natural flavors. To finish, I couldn’t resist the Tiramisu, light and classic. Service was genuine and attentive—friendly without ever rushing me, suggesting wine pairings, and explaining dishes with approachable flair.
We spent wonderfull evening.
We chose this authentic Italian restaurant for our special dinner, and it was a wonderful evening full of enjoyment. You can feel the original Italian flair and atmosphere from the friendly welcome. All the menus are fresh (fish), creative and delicious. Together with delicious Prosecco, Vino Blanca & Grappa -tutti perfetto!
