Staria Chinar - Port Varna

We had a nice lunch there. Despite that it was Sunday, no reservation was required as it was a bit later in the afternoon. There were plenty of free tables and we chose indoor seating, because there was an air conditioner and it was a hot summer day. The service was kind and helpful. The dishes arrived relatively quickly. We got a recommendation for some fresh fish. The mussels were also fresh and nice. This is also one of the very few places that offer tap Guinness beer. Soon after I recommended the place to friends that were also visiting Varna.

Good location and very good traditional Bulgarian food. Recommended to make a reservation if you plan to go at peak times.

Simple: no words can describe the quality of the food and service we have recieved here. Delicious is an understatement. Fabulous is an understatement. An overall fantastic, not-to-be missed experience. Will repeat !

The food was very good! The meat was melting in your mouth, my risotto tasted just like in Italy-very authentic taste. They didnt have in the menu non-alcoholic cocktails but the bartender prepared special ones for us. The only thing that bothered me is the smoking and non smoking area aren divided by no doors, even if you’re sitting in the non smoking area, the smoke from the smoking one is coming either way to the other area. But overall, everytime we’re coming here we are having a great time.

We chose this spot for our Easter lunch and were once again impressed by the quality and atmosphere. Just like at the other restaurant from the same chain, the service was warm and personal - something we really appreciate. The food was fresh, nicely presented, and full of flavor. A lovely place for a holiday lunch or just a nice meal with family. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
