Incredibly good. The staff is incredibly friendly. Delicious daily specials every day. The ambiance and service are top-notch. Everything is done right.
When I go to a butcher, I assume the staff has experience cutting meat! Yesterday I was wondering why the lady is cutting the schnitzels with a bread knife, and what's she talking about when the three pieces weigh 40g? Today in the kitchen, I had the result, and I have to say, I've never had meat cut so badly, and given the weight, I might as well just buy the pre-packaged ones at the supermarket anyway! Maybe they should at least train their staff a little!!!
After Work Market: At the front of the stand, a large beer in a mug costs €6.50 (!!). The "waitress" takes the money and "accidentally" changes it to €7. It was probably the first beer she'd ever charged that evening, and the poor thing completely forgot that they had 0.50 cent coins. I have to tell you one thing: the beer price is extortionate, and the self-imposed "tip" is a disgrace. Afterward, I overheard a bit, and several people were having the same experience. So thanks for the €7 beer (!!)
The food was very good. It's a feast for the eyes – beautifully presented and delicious. I wouldn't have expected something so delicious from a daily special. :) Very nice and friendly service.
The name Frierss has always stood for fine culinary delights, and at "Frierss am Markt," you can shop and enjoy them in a wonderful atmosphere. The friendly and personable staff are particularly worthy of mention and perfectly round off the shopping experience. A true asset to our beautiful Benedictine Market.
