Great place, with great food. Service was great, they were unfortunately understaffed the night week went, they explained this to us with an apology which we were fine with. Overall great experience and great atmosphere - we would return.
While traveling through Villach, we decided to stop at Racer’s Café. The ambiance is exceptional—kudos to the owners and designers for creating such a welcoming and stylish space. We were promptly seated, and our order was taken quickly, so the service and atmosphere easily deserve a full 5 stars. We ordered the Double Racer’s Burger and the Don Pepe Pizza. The pizza was outstanding—its dough was simply amazing, and the sauce and toppings were fresh and full of flavor. The burger, however, was a mix of highs and lows. Visually, it was impressive, with fresh buns, crisp vegetables, and a flavorful sauce. Unfortunately, the beef patties were a letdown—dry and lacking flavor. As a professional chef, I quickly identified the issue but will refrain from elaborating. It’s unfortunate because the potential for greatness is there, but the execution fell short. With some adjustments, the burgers could truly match the quality of the rest of the experience.
Great atmosphere, waitress was professional and friendly. The restaurant was packed, but food arrived fast (within 20 minutes). Make sure you make a reservation. Baby Back ribs and Tuna steak were excellent!👍🏻👍🏻
What I like: - have a great amount of servings! Highly recommend the ribs and wings - the salad was also nice! It comes together with the baked potato with sour cream What i dont like: - it’s a bit difficult to call the waiters/waitresses compared to other restaurants. Might be cause by the number of their customers
One of the best pizza in Villach. Ordered half&half pizza. The dough is baked to a perfect texture. The bar guy Peter is very friendly (who served us during our first visit). Was a full house and we opt to sit at the bar even there was a table available. 2nd visit, managed to get a table. A friendly guy by the name Eric took our order. Very friendly too and served us with passion. A great venue for dinner with family and friends. Reservation is advised for a bigger group especially during weekends. Will definitely recommend this place.
