From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. Kostas stood out with his friendliness — he greeted me with a smile, was very polite, and offered both the main menu and new specials. Fotis and Dimitris were also extremely kind and cheerful, creating a wonderful atmosphere together with Kostas. The staff are truly great guys. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food delicious, and the octopus was simply amazing — tasty and tender.

Jonah’s in Athens is not just a restaurant – it’s a place where you don’t just eat, you feel welcome. As a team from Migrafrica, with many years of experience in intercultural and professional cooking, we had the pleasure of dining here twice – and each visit left a lasting impression. From the perfectly grilled Tomahawk and T-bone steaks to the beautifully simple spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, every dish was crafted with love, precision, and respect for the ingredients. But what truly sets Jonah’s apart is its hospitality. The service is warm, intuitive, and genuinely caring. Our special requests – like a side of garlic oil – were fulfilled with a smile. To our surprise, we were treated to complimentary desserts: homemade cheesecake and churros with caramel sauce, served not for attention, but out of pure kindness. This is a place where every guest feels special. In a city where tourists are too often seen as mere income, Jonah’s revives the ancient Greek value of philoxenia – the sacred art of treating strangers as honored guests. You don’t just get a meal here; you receive respect, warmth, and a feeling of home. We didn’t feel like customers – we felt like family. Jonah’s isn’t just a place to eat, it’s a place to connect, feel embraced, and leave with a full heart. Don’t miss it. Let yourself be welcomed, nourished, and moved. This is what hospitality is meant. Enjoy it….

My recent dinner experience was fantastic. The menu featured a diverse range of dishes, each promising a delightful taste of different cuisines. The Arancini balls from the Starters were my favourite. Vegetarians - you have a whole Page of options! 🙂

My family and I were on our vacation visiting Athens, and I asked our Hotel receptionist ( President Hotel Athens) if she could recommend a local restaurant. She mentioned Jonah's restaurant, and she explained to me where to go. We started our 10-minute walk to the place. We arrived at the restaurant and Kostantinos welcomed us to the restaurant. He sat us down and started asking what we would like, and we told him that it was our first time. He started offering us some bread with some butter with herbs, Mediterranean yogurt dip, (tzatziki), and some cherry tomatoes with olive oil. After that, he brought us some spring rolls with sweet chili sauce. We ordered our appetizers, which were Parmesan cheese balls, and Smoked salmon in bruschetta, both dishes were super delicious. Then we order our main course. My kid ordered the Beef Burger XL, my wife ordered the Tenderloin with chestnut and plums, and I have the Tagliatelle Gustose pasta. My brother ordered the Smoked Pork steak, and his wife had the Chicken breast filets on the grill with Quinoa. My cousin had the Potato Gnocchi, and his wife had the Fresh Salmon filet on the grill with Quinoa. Once we got our meals, I have to admit the presentation, the smell of freshness, and the taste were superb. It was Super delicious. After we were done with our meals, Kostantinos brought us a little shot glass with a Hazelnut drink with some whipped cream with cinnamon to settle our meals, which was Amazing. Now we were ready to request our checks, Kostantinos brought us some dessert, churros with dulce de leche, and let me tell you they were delicious. My family and I were pleased with everything it was an Amazing experience. If we visit Athens again we will go to Jonah's restaurant. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic Greek Food & Incredible Service! Jonah's in Athens is a fantastic spot for authentic Greek cuisine with truly outstanding service. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the dishes to us, which made the experience even better. I had the Greek meat patties in tomato sauce — delicious and full of rich, traditional flavor. We also had the Greek salad, and it’s a must-try — so fresh and well-balanced. If you're in Athens, do yourself a favor and check out Jonah's. Great food, warm hospitality, and a memorable dining experience. You won't be disappointed!
