Ribs of Vienna

It’s wonderful to be back at Ribs of Vienna after 20 years! On our first visit, my wife and I stumbled upon this gem while exploring the city. This time, we returned with our daughters—and I’m happy to say the food is just as delicious as we remembered. The spare ribs were outstanding! The fries that came with Gourmet Spare Ribs had a distinctive aroma that made them truly memorable. The Spare Ribs Diablo, with their bold spices and chili kick, elevated the flavor of the meat to another level. A special thank you to the restaurant manager, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we walked in without a reservation, he made a reservation for us in a hour time, so we didn’t have to wait there. We also appreciated the thoughtful advice from our young waiter, who gently warned us that ordering three rib dishes might be too much for two adults and two children. Apologies—we finished every bite! They were simply too good to resist. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Vienna, but when I am, this will be my first stop. I wholeheartedly recommend Ribs of Vienna to anyone visiting the city.

11 years ago, I was intending to visit here with my partner when he got ill. And now I finally get to try it, and it was a well worth 11 years wait. Tender ribs, amazing flavour. Their fried mushrooms were also really good though wish the size of the dip for the mushrooms were a bit bigger. It ran out fast.

A belated review. The ribs were perfectly juicy, and the portions were generous. My friend and I ordered chicken wings with fries and ribs. We ended up taking half of it home. It was my friend's birthday that day, so we ordered a dessert and asked the server if we could have a candle. To our surprise, the candle was like a magic wand and they even played the birthday song. It's a very great restaurant. As I was leaving, I accidentally left my bag in the restaurant. I only realized it at the airport. The staff kindly gave my bag to a taxi driver to deliver it to me at the airport, the best customer service! A must-visit restaurant in Vienna🌟

this place is so recommended! absolutely delicious and the staff is super kind and welcoming. though we came 1 hour before they closed (they close at 23:00, they welcomed us very nicely and the food was AMAZING. we had the classic vienna ribs, the fried mushrooms and the potato soup as the waiter recommended for us, and everything was so delicious. worth 10 stars 🌟 you go down 2 floors for the restaurant.

Absolutely delicious ribs – a total success! You just want to keep eating more and more. The fries were a bit too salty but still acceptable… though let’s be honest, we’re really here for the ribs! Make sure to book in advance – the best way is to go there in person, because the online system isn’t always reliable. Definitely worth coming back!
