Moment Cafe and Restaurant

We has our first dinner in Wien at this wonderful place. Right after a walk through the belvedere. We received a very warm welcome even if we were 5 and the seating options are limited. The food came quickly and everything tasted amazing and looked freshly made. I do recommend the traditional schnitzel even though the chicken option is delicious. Thanks for having us!

We had classic Vienna schnitzel and a goulash. Both were really good and you can taste, that they were prepared fresh. Even stuff advised us we will need to wait a bit for a schnitzel, and we didn't mind - better to wait and eat fresh, instead reheated mediocre food. During the wait you can hear them tendering the meat 🙂. Super friendly and helpful staff. They care about the customers to the extended, when we joined the tables and they were uneven, the made a quick fix with a coaster to made the table sturdy, which helped with dining experience 🙂 I recommend it 👌

This place is so so so good! Everything we ate was phenomenal! We got the roast beef with onions, the beef shoulder and the schnitzel, oh and an almdudler. I would get all of it again. Service was top notch. A very nice couple greeted us and shared photos of dishes to help us decide. 100% recommended!

As a family run business everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They feel like they are really intent on providing you with the best experience and food possible. The food was sublime (steak burger and Caesar salad) and prepared right in front of you. I wouldn’t just recommend this, I would say it’s a must visit if you’re staying in Vienna.

The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. The food was prepared with care and tasted wonderful. I especially recommend the grilled salmon—it’s rich in protein and perfect for those following a diet. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The restroom was also clean, which I appreciated. It felt like a perfect final meal in Vienna as I waited for my train on my last day. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk from the train station.
