I enjoyed pretty much my first staying in this restaurant! We got such a tasty food , good service also the atmosphere is great! So I’m highly recommend also we must come back here
Unfortunately the food was very miserable, the steaks (we had both of the ones on the menu) were way too seasoned and far from the requested level of doneness. One of the steaks resembled more of a chop than a steak. As we told the waiter that the steaks were really not the way we expected it (we had 3 steaks in total), he reacted kind of offended which I thought was kind of the wrong reaction. To be fair, he reacted in that way bc after the first few bites of the food he asked if everything is alright and we didn’t say anything at that point. We could have said something earlier but I didn’t intend to get a new meal or something I just wanted to give my honest opinion (at least in the end). So his reaction was very unprofessional. Ambiente was OK, nothing special.
Great food stop open from 5pm after a long day sightseeing at Schonbrunn. A short walk from the U bahn stop. We chose it for the menu suitable for the whole family. The fresh bread basket with local cheese went down well as we were really hungry. Local sparking wine was excellent. We had a duck with risotto, burger/fries and caesar salad. Lovely waiter, efficient service and very good and clean rest rooms.
The place was nice and quiet. The waiter was nice but service was really slow. While one waits for the food, the waiter brings bread and garlic butter. I tried the grilled fish and it was really tasty. The cream cheese potato mix was an interesting touch. The gnocchi weren’t anything particularly special and were a bit tasteless. The Norwegian soup was nice. The prices were reasonable.
Great service, nice cocktails, unfortunately not so great food. Burrata/salad for starter came undressed, we had to ask for oil and salt. Schnitzel was soft and batter falling off the cutlet when cut into. Beef cheek was incredibly tough - we couldn’t finish it. Sides of vegetables were crunchy as if they hadn’t been cooked properly - couldn’t finish these. Gnocchi was incredibly overly peppery! Really wanted to like this place due to the good reviews, but unfortunately the food just wasn’t good which was a shame as we were celebrating a birthday. Maybe an off day but I wouldn’t recommend.
