Maier's

My husband surprised me with a dinner at Maier’s for my birthday. We love food and going out for dinner. The evening started off with the perfect table - my husband had asked for a more quiet one in a corner - they did not forget. We were treated very friendly and kind through out the whole evening. We enjoyed the welcoming and warm atmosphere, which filled the whole restaurant. Now, the food … how does one best put that taste in words … :) it was absolutely delicious!! We took our first bites, said nothing and just looked at each other and grinned. The quality and the taste of the food and wine in addition to the warm and kind service really is a treat! A hidden gem – unforgettable experience at Maier’s! We stumbled upon Maier’s and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Austria. From the warm and cozy atmosphere to the incredibly thoughtful service, everything was top-notch. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and crafted with precision. You can feel the chef’s passion and creativity in every bite. This isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. If you ever find yourself in this area, Maier’s is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be back, and we’re already recommending it to our friends. Bravo to the team for creating something truly special!

The best steak in town! This restaurant is specialized in Steak so they really know what they are doing. The quality is high, the hospitality is great. Nothing to complain. We were really satisfied with the food.

Such a cozy and friendly stake restaurant 🤗✨ not only did I enjoy the stake but I also enjoyed homemade alioli dip with bread 🥖 it was so tasty 😋

Exceptional steak and great accompanying sides. Tiramisu is a must. Great wine selection. The gyoza is the best thing I have had in Salzburg.
