Nice place with good service and delicious food. The outdoor veranda/garden is very comfortable on a hot day due to the many trees creating shade. My schnitzel and beer (I took one with juice, interesting taste) were good, and my friend liked her Backhendlsalad. We were there for lunch and the restaurant was not busy. It is likely that there are many more people there for dinner.

As a visitor from Japan, I was thoroughly impressed with the service at this establishment. We were received by staff who were both cordial and impeccably polite. ​In my research, I was reassured to find a complete absence of negative feedback regarding the treatment of international guests, and our experience beautifully reflected this inclusive atmosphere. ​The terrace was vibrant and, while the staff were indisputably busy, their attentiveness never wavered. There was a minor oversight with our beverages, but upon bringing it to their attention, the matter was rectified immediately with a most courteous apology, which left a very positive impression. ​The cuisine was exceptional and has become a cherished memory of our time in Salzburg. I would certainly make it a point to return should I have the opportunity to visit the city again.

A very big restaurant with many seatings. The service is superb. Very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. I feel my Wiener Schnitzel was a bit too soggy. But the beef soup with liver dumpling was delicious.

Great food in a side garden of the hotel. The atmosphere was great as the sun was setting and people were digging into Austrian favourites. We had the fried pork and chicken dishes as they were very tasty especially with the cranberry sauce. We didn’t have a booking but were let in after 10 minutes even though we rocked up at 7pm when it was quite crowded inside.
