We're a couple weeks into our European adventure, and honestly, we were really starting to miss Asian food – especially rice! So, we did some searching and landed on Foocha in Brussels, mostly because of all the great reviews. We figured it was worth a shot. I went with the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, and it totally hit the spot. It was perfectly crunchy on the outside and super juicy inside, and the soft rice, kimchi, and radish on the side really brought the whole dish together. The portion was also really generous, which was a pleasant surprise. We also tried some dumplings, and while they tasted good, I did find them a tiny bit dry. Overall, our experience at Foocha was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the prices felt really fair, especially considering how much food you get. If you're in Brussels and craving some authentic Asian flavors, you definitely need to check this place out.
The fried chicken was superb! We only tried the sweet and spicy one, and it was juicy and tasty. The medium size is more than enough for one person, so price, quality and quantity are unbeatable. We also tried the pork gyozas but found them quite dry. They have lovely backyard and the waiters are super nice!
Best sweet and spicy tofu I’ve ever had! Highly recommend trying both tofu dishes and the veggie gyoza. We also tried the udon noodles which were also nice. Paired perfectly with the milk tea. Staff super friendly and quick. Only minus is the uncomfortable seating in the backyard. But the food is utter perfection and I’ll be back many many times!
Cute little restaurant in the heart of Brussels. We went there on a weekday so it wasn't particularily busy. The food was prepared and served quickly. In my opinion the small portions are more than enough to fill you up. The taste overall was good but you could taste the spice powders in the tofu it(consistency-wise).The vegetable dumplings were delicious. The homemade ice tea was not too sweet and a great refreshment. The bathrooms weren't the nicest but still relatively clean. Overall a casual atmosphere and great for a quick lunch.
Very good homemade dumplings and fried chicken. Owner is so nice. Nice service. You can feel the homemade food. I recommend their matcha, fried chicken and their dumplings 😋
