Le Bugatti is a hidden gem near Abbey Station. You’ll be pleasantly surprised the moment you step inside—the interior is charming and inviting. Although the menu isn’t very extensive, it features a thoughtful selection of classic Belgian dishes. There’s also a great variety of Belgian beers to choose from. Impressively, there’s only one staff member handling orders, service, and the counter, but she manages it all efficiently and always takes time to answer customer questions clearly.

What a great find in the Ixelles area! Le Bugatti is a fantastic Belgian restaurant offering a wide variety of traditional dishes that really showcase the local cuisine. The beer selection is also amazing. I had the waterzooi, and it was especially memorable—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best versions I’ve ever had! And the interior is absolutely unreal—it’s like dining in a vintage museum, full of Art Nouveau charm and old-world character. The stained glass and original details make the atmosphere warm, cozy, and completely unforgettable.

Le Bugatti is one of the favorite restaurants of our dear English friend, so when he visits Brussels, we make sure to reserve a table. Le Bugatti is famous for its authentic Belgian cuisine, the many Belgian beer options and the truly gorgeous stained glass windows and wall paintings. The interior has a real old time feeling, as if you are travelling back into time. As a starter I ordered a shrimp croquette, which came accompanied with a healthy salad. A nice touch, because traditionally you only get parsley and lemon served with such a croquette. As a main course I went for the famous moules frites (mussels with fries). The mussels were fine, but not really memorable. I also tried the champagne and the white wine of the house. Both drinks were mediocre at best. Stick to ordering a beer here, I would say. A dish I can truly recommend: the bloempanch, the Brussels version of black pudding is really outstanding. I finished my meal off with a lovely glass chartreuse, a drink that does not feature frequently on drink menu's in Belgium.

Lovely tenant, great food and AMAZING interior. I’m very fond of this place and will definitely return. The prices are good. Offering homemade potato croquettes would make this place my favorite for Belgian food. I had a waterzooi, but the carbonnade is great and the shrimp croquette is a must.
