Saw this place on a YouTube video and tried it out. It was a hot day and the AC inside was great! Had the wine muscles and the wine, garlic, cream muscles and the Mediterranean salad and the food was just great! Tried a few new beers and they were all excellent too! Ask your server for recommendations! The service was also great and so friendly! Bravo!
The best mussels I have ever had. There are four flavor choices. We went with the white wine "meuniere" that was amazing! The mussels were plump and bursting with flavor. Fresh bread was served as well. The wait staff was excellent. Not to be missed!
My wife and I had been out the whole day partaking in the revelry of Belgian National Day, which happened to be in the middle of our three-day stay here whilst on honeymoon. We needed somewhere not too close to the Parc Cinquantenaire so as not to be too loud and busy but not too quiet either. The atmosphere inside was still very nice and surprisingly we were able to get seats upstairs as walk-ins. The barmen were all very friendly and professional and gave excellent recommendations for food and drink.
My new favourite place in Brussels to eat great Belgian food like a local! The food is very good, the portions are great and the service is excellent 👌 and they also have amazing limoncello at the end of every meal. The menu is quite varied so you have all kinds of options and the quality of the food is really good. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive to details, they speak many languages and will do their best to help you choose a dish by explaining everything you want to know. The beer is also excellent! I highly recommend visiting this place, you will not regret it. They have places indoors and outdoors and pets are allowed in both.
Lovely start to our holiday! We decided to eat here as it was close to where we were staying in Brussels and I liked the idea of being next to the Halle gate. We both went for the ham knuckle with the mustard cream sauce as we were intrigued by this on the traditional food section of the menu. We both really enjoyed the rich flavours of the ham and the sauce it was with was also nice to dip our fries in. We were however humbled by the generous portion and had to take the rest home with us - by no means is this a complaint though as the leftovers made for great sandwiches the next day. Overall the atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the French bistro feel to the restaurant! Definitely recommend if that is the vibe you are after.
