Absolutely loved the Belgian waffles! They were perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served fresh and warm. The toppings were generous and delicious, making every bite a treat. The service was also friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re craving something sweet and satisfying!
Having tried about a dozen waffles in Brussels, they all look the same and they all taste just about the same, not really great. There really isn’t much difference except for one place. This place where the waffles are fresh, the service is amazing and the taste is just out of this world. A fresh made waffle, not a reheated one. This is a great place. I will be back many many many times to come. Fresh crispy perfection!
I was genuinely shocked by how bad the waffle was. The outside looked decent, but once you bite into it, it’s a total letdown. The inside was soggy, doughy, and strangely undercooked as if it hadn’t been baked properly. The texture was heavy and unappetizing, and the overall taste felt artificial. Overpriced not recommended.
Definitely the BEST waffles I have ever tried. I have visited many waffle places in Brussels and other towns in search for the perfect waffles, and these were the winners. Both types of waffles are made fresh to order, they are nice crispy outside and soft inside, served warm with generous amount of toppings of your choice. They were so good, I returned there several times during my stay in Brussels. My favourite ended to be a waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, as, unlike in other restaurants, here they use a proper homemade whipped cream and they gave generous portions of fresh fruit. Atmosphere - staff is very friendly and kind.
Waffles were okay but the service could have been improved. The menu is fully mix and match, meaning you are free to choose any combination of fruits or sauces. As it was my first stop in Brussels, I asked the lady at the counter what she would recommend and she was unhelpful, just shrugging and said “anything”. Then I asked what the locals typically have and I’d like whatever that might be, and she again just shrugged. For all first time travellers who have no preferences: I was told by locals they tend to just order Classic (no topping) liege waffles. It is already sweet on its own.
