We were lucky and didn’t have to queue. The waiters were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried smelts then the sausages and the meatballs. Nice quality and generous portions. Good selection of beers on offer and they can help you choose. Would definitely recommend.
I enjoyed my lunch very much. Highly recommended. I don’t remember the names of my orders but i added photo here. Their Belgian traditional meal were delicious and I hope to come back to try more dishes!
Okay.. so this might be a long one because I feel the need to admit I was slightly apprehensive about coming here because of some reviews I've read commenting on the service. Here's the thing... service was great! BUT I can see how people may take issue given what I overheard. All of that being said, my server was attentive without being overbearing. She waved me off from making a potentially poor beer and food pairing and offered up suggestions for other pairings as well when asked. But if you're going to sit down and ask "What's a traditional Belgian beer? I'll have that!", you best be prepared to be asked "What do you mean traditional Belgian beer?" It's literally a Belgian beer brasserie, they're all traditional belgian beers! And given the breadth of styles... The food here is also excellent by the way. Get the smelts. Some of the best I've had. The service here is not rude, it's direct. They're not rushing you, they're being attentively efficient. Come here if you like beer and not just the idea of beer.
Wow....just wow. Excellent staff! A big applause to the staff who know how to turn tables and get the line moving. There is generally a bit of a wait, but I assure you, it will be worth your time. From start to finish, delicious, authentic, Belgium cuisine. A bountiful beer menu. Lots of food options for any preference. A must try!
It’s a small cosy restaurant, good variety of dishes from starter to desserts. Every starter and main we tried are delicious, the ham on the bone is surprisingly good, love the meatball, pork belly and the beef stew. Dessert however, the crème brûlée and cheesecake doesn’t taste like what we expect, bit of disappointing.
