We went for an early dinner (6.30pm) and it was already quite full but still easy to get a table outside. The service was fast and the staff was nice and helpful. We were more in contact with Gabriel who is great. The food was delicious! We had the lamb chops (definitely our recommendation!) and the crazy burger, also good. The belgian roasted coffee is also approved! Surroundings are also nice.

We went yesterday in the evening, and at first, the place looked pretty average to us. But we were soon amazed by the service. The young waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional — exactly how a great waiter should be. He suggested both food and drinks, which turned out to be excellent choices. The food was also amazing!

Friendly and welcoming service, food is delicious especially the duck leg and mussels, highly recommended. The lamb chop is good too. Love the creme brûlée too, soft, rich and not too sweet.

My wife and I were on honeymoon in Brussels and wanted to try some authentic Belgian cuisine, a quick Google search returned this brasserie which did not disappoint. I’d never tried a Karmeliet Tripel before so I ordered a pint and my wife ordered an Oasis to go with our meals. I had the meatballs with pasta instead of chips, and she had the lamb chops with chips and salad. The meatballs were so soft and the sauce was very rich in flavour with the acidity of the tomatoes not being overwhelming at all. The lamb chops fell off the bone, were very tender, and didn’t at all have the taste of game which was a pleasant surprise. All the staff here were very helpful with their recommendations, and exceedingly friendly. Well worth the money spent!
