Better than hungry

Really good Thai restaurant. The tom yum noodle soup is very tasty and served in a big bowl. They have other asain food in the menu. Service is quick and the ambience is nice. We did not need to book a table. Good casual restaurant to try.

Visited this restaurant for dinner as it was nearby. Indoor with outdoor seating, at the time there was no wait. Approached rather quickly by the host/server, menu was easy to read. The restaurant offers different choices of noodles and a rice option, the pricing depends on the protein. We requested tap water, the server stated that they do not serve tap water. Water with nonalcoholic or alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. The ambiance was very airy and open however, there were some flies, one of them made it into my drink. We ordered 1 noddle item #31 chicken with red curry and 1 rice item #63 with chicken. #31 was filled with a ton of bean sprouts, flavor wise it was okay, personally believe better paired with rice. #63 was filled with flavor, out of the two dishes-our favorite. In my opinion, portions are large easily shareable between 2 people. Food is fresh and hot, spice level was tolerable. Overall, good restaurant aside from slight inconveniences here and there. There was only one host/server, the attention to customer needs was just when needed or asked when compared to other places.

1. Its a small place with around 15 tables which opens onto the street. Feels very airy and open. 2. Their food and drink options are diverse and plentiful. There are veggie options for every dish on the menu. 3. Their portion sizes are huge. I couldn't finish one full dish. But it was incredibly tasty. 4. Their drink options were good too. For people who likes sweet wine, their leeche wine is good. If you're around this area, I would recommend this place.

Where to even start! Yesterday my girlfriend and I visited Better than Hungry. We were drawn in by the garden, surrounded by real flowers, which gave it such a cozy vibe. The restaurant itself feels the same way. We both had noodles, and the food was excellent with generous portions. But what I really have to highlight is the atmosphere - the lady who served us was amazing! She was smiling, super friendly, and even sang across the whole restaurant… The prices are also very reasonable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything at this Thai restaurant was absolutely delectable, with thoughtfully crafted flavors in every dish. They offer a solid selection of vegan and vegetarian options, each prepared with care. The only downside was the waiter, who came across as arrogant, slightly dimming an otherwise wonderful dining experience.
