Very sweet to stumble upon this place for lunch. It's in a lovely, historical alley. It's shaded, cool and quiet. I was here on a Monday at lunch so perhaps it's busier at other times. You can sit inside or out. If you sit outside there can be a lot of foot traffic wandering through the alley. If there was an option for 6/5 for atmosphere, I would give that. I had a goat cheese salad and it was delicious. What a special place.
It is a bit hard to find in some alleyways. The inside is quaint and has nice decoration and real candles. They do not serve tap water which is unfortunate. The Soup Du Jour was tasty, I did not catch the name but I believe it was a pumpkin and/or carrot soup. The menu said it came with bread but we only got 4 pieces of bread with 3 soups. I did not want to risk accidentally buying a 7 euro basket of bread so I did not comment. The chicken and shrimp tagliatelle was extremely good, the sauce was perfect, it was lightly sweet and savory. The chicken and shrimp were great, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Overall it was an above average dining experience and I'd recommend it over the more touristy restaurants we walked by to get there.
I’m usually the last person to complain, but this was really unacceptable. The vegetables on my plate were burned—not just overcooked, but blackened. I politely pointed this out multiple times, but the staff showed no understanding, let alone an apology. The location is lovely, but the untrained service and lack of basic hospitality really ruined the experience. Won’t be coming back.
The best soup I had for a long time. Food is lavishly tasty and beautifully arranged. Hats off to the sheff. I was sitting inthe courtyard, but must mention that indoors is equally beautiful.
A wonderful dining experience. Only a minute from the Hussle and bustle of the busy tourist areas. It was a refined and quiet. the food was very good. We would highly recommend
