Stumbled across this restaurant, and very pleased we did. A sunny hot day, some outside tables were available. Sat under the outside awnings, watching the world go by, very relaxing by the canal. The service was professional, whilst being chilled. Food was delicious, chose a duck breast salad. The little square this (as well as some other) restaurant is on, is way more relaxing than the Grand Place. Definitely recommend this area.
Quaint out of the tourist congestion, family owned & operated delicious snacks & entrees
We had a lovely dinner. Menu items: (1) rice with scampi, yellow curry, and banana, and (2) salad with scampi and cream peso. The quality was excellent and the price reasonable. The ambiance and décor are simultaneously presentable and comfortable. I would love to come back to try more of the menu and the specials.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this intimate brasserie while on a short visit to Bruges. The food was thoughtfully prepared, fresh and delicious. My partner and I shared the Thai mussels as a starter. Then the fish pan and fish fillet for our main courses. Both were delicious. Attentive service, reasonable prices for the location and quality. I recommend this restaurant 👍🏼
French tourist here, we didn’t want to be scammed by restaurants at the Markt place that serve average food to the tourists, at an expensive price. There’s isn’t a lot of choice on the menu but this is quite reassuring actually because the chef is good at what he already makes. The food is fresh and well prepared. Also worth mentioning the two ladies who served us were very pleasant. The view on the canal might also be one of the best spots in the city. I will definitely come again next time I visit Brugge
