We are outside on a gorgeous late July evening along a picturesque lane. Belgian fare. The Rabbit with potato croquettes and the half roasted chicken were delicious. The owner and host was most attentive and genuine. Had a wonderful experience and highly recommend eating here.
We had the garlic bread, cheese croquettes, pesto tagliatelle and salmon tagliatelle. I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service was lovely. A really nice dining experience!
Mussels were super delicious, we ordered the one with wine and two of my friends went crazy and grabbed it, of course I ate a little. The owner was very nice, very friendly and greeted us warmly.I loved the lasagna which was so good that we ended up licking all the plates.
Lovely evening meal here trying the local traditional dishes. The rabbit stew and mussels were a highlight! Friendly waiter who kindly spoke to us in English. We booked a few days earlier, and much like most restaurants in Bruges, in the summer you would want to book to guarantee a table. Would love to return.
Positive: on of the best Caesar salad I ate. All the other dishes (moules, steak, croque monsieur) were pretty basic Negative: they are very greedy, they charge you even for ketchup 1.5€, don’t give any bread even for the moules. And the moules portion was pretty small (e.g. compared to what you could have in Normandy)
