The food was delicious, but the waitress didn’t seem happy that we had a child with us. Our baby was only 7 months old at the time, very quiet and calm, and didn’t disturb anyone. Still, she went to the table next to us and asked them, ‘Will this couple with a baby bother you?’ It’s the first time I’ve experienced something like this in Belgium. The waitress was very unpleasant. The food was good, but because of her, I won’t be going back.

We came here for Easter Sunday with friends and their kids, this place is truly a hidden gem in Bruges. It’s tucked away from the busy areas, but the food was absolutely excellent. Every dish included French fries, that were renew when they finished (upon request without extra charge). We ordered the traditional Flemish beef stew (Carbonnade), which was delicious and incredibly tender. We also had the natural moules and a kids’ menu. Everything was full of flavor and great value for money. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. The only thing I missed was a bit of bread to go with the Carbonnade, but perhaps that’s not very Belgian. Either way, this spot is highly recommended!

We were welcomed by a friendly and enthusiastic staff member. This restaurant is cosy and authentic, and away from the crowded tourist square. We ordered the Chef's Morles, one with white wine and one without (definitely recommend). The portions were generous, well-cooked, and very flavoursome with a delicious sauce. One basket of chips was included, and extra was free of charge! The kids' portions were large and tasty - happy kids - and additional sauces were free. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended and won't disappoint.
