Really nice brunch spot with a spacious layout and a chill, laid-back vibe. The staff is warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience more pleasant. The food is always fresh! especially the fruits. I’ve been a few times now and they’re very consistent with quality, which I really appreciate. We had a latte this time, and it looked beautiful and tasted even better…smooth and well-balanced. If you get the chance to sit outside, it’s a lovely spot to relax. Just a very good place overall
Excellent avocado toast. Yes, it’s available everywhere, but it’s better here. Waffles are a hit with our kids. Nice people.
If you're tossing up between Balthasar and another toast focused place for Breakfast in Brugge... choose this one. Let's start with the Cons: It is popular.... so seating is at a premium, book ahead or get in early. That is it. Pros: SERVICE & SPACE: Super friendly, efficent and prompt. BB has wide open spaces and they constantly monitor the number of patrons to ensure everyone is comfortable. (Unlike the other breakfast place that was so crowded, with tables and chairs so close together they blocked the aisles and we were constantly bumped and jostled) COFFEE : Really good, strong, perfectly balanced Flat White. JUICES: Freshly squeezed, not in a bottle. FOOD : Really Fresh, tasty ingredients that combined very well in the Parmaham toast we shared. Delightful. AMBIENCE: Fun, playful, casual not too noisy but a great vibe. Overall a Very Pleasant Breakfast Experience. We will return tomorrow ! *Update* We did and it was just as good as yesterday. Well done to all the team.
Nice Ambiente and good food. The sweet breakfast menue was not too sweet. The waffles as well as the whipped cream and strawberries. I really recommend it. This also included an americano coffee and a donut. My husband had the healthy breakfast. Which included a warm fluffy blueberry muffin and a yoghurt with granola, strawberries and blueberries with honey. The cherry on top was the little eatable flower. The waitress was also friendly.
I recently visited this charming place and was immediately struck by its beautiful ambiance and welcoming decor. The service was friendly and attentive. However, I did find the food portions to be extremely small—definitely not enough. Additionally, the eggs I ordered were overly salted, which was a bit disappointing. While the atmosphere and service make it a lovely place to visit, I hope they address the portion sizes and seasoning in the future.
