To be clear this restaurant is largely Nepalese cuisine with some other things on the menu too (spaghetti bolognese etc). We were in Bruges for a few days and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant rather by accident, and what a pleasant surprise it was. The food here is absolutely fantastic. We only tried the Nepalese dishes but what we had was packed full of flavour and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and the guy serving who was possibly the owner was super friendly too. While not traditional Belgian cuisine, would definitely recommend nonetheless.
This Nepalese restaurant in Bruges also offers Belgian classics, but if you’re there, the Nepalese food is absolutely the way to go. I had the pani puri; so, so good. Bursting with flavor, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. The chicken momos were perfectly steamed, and the chili sauce had real kick, no shyness with the spices, which I really appreciated. I also tried the chowmin sadeko, and everything was delicious. The flavors felt genuinely authentic. The place is super clean, and the manager kept checking in to make sure things were okay. You can tell they really care, which makes the whole experience even better.
We were seated as soon as we arrived. Menus came out quickly. Most of the menu was not in English, so we needed the waitress to explain some of the dishes to us. We ordered three dishes: chili chicken, chicken momo and a beef stir fry. The chili chicken was the star of the meal. It had bright flavors and was delicious. The momo were also very tasty. My partner was a bit disappointed in the beef dish. He felt it needed more seasoning and vegetables. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. The value for the price was very good. It is well worth a visit here.
Such a great find. It's small with a variety of menu items however given its Nepalese we opted for the sharing platter. Everything was amazing, each item had its own flavour. It was sparing rolls, samosas, dumplings, riblettes, puri puri, with dips. Clean plates and very fully bellies. Left very happy.
Little gem in the heart of a local neighborhood. We loved everything about our visit and meal. Value for quality of food is exceptional. I ordered Shrimp in garlic butter, see photo, exceptional. Had to use google translator with menu (all in Dutch) but owner/waiter can help translate all as well. I wish I’d ordered the Pani Puru appetizer. My neighbor had it and it looked yummy, Google that, you might decide to order the same! We had the Pork dumplings and were very happy with that too. Enjoy!!
